Design Project

In this project we have made a smart bag which has everything that a person needs at any point of time. It is a light weight bag and contains many smart features. Some of its features are; it has a chair attached to it and it very smoothly unfolds itself into the same whenever the person wants to sit ; it consists of a solar powered smart phone charger which could be used for charging your phone; it contains a smoke sensor with an inbuilt alarm which beeps whenever smoke is detected and immediately a mask pops out with which we can cover our face; it consists of GPS tracker which is quite a help since whenever the bag is lost it will send the exact location of the bag(latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates) on our smartphone; it also consists of a rain detector with an inbuilt alarm which beeps whenever rain is detected and immediately a rain cover pops out and covers the bag.

If we follow the statistics, about 4 million pick-pocketing incidents occur daily, so we have also added an anti-theft feature by designing the bag in such a way that the zippers will be hidden as they will be at the back of the bag, and this will keep our belongings safe during our commute. 

This is our latest project. Before embarking on this intriguing journey, we had doubts about finding all the answers. We didn’t know what tools would serve us best, and wasn’t sure what resources would be best suited for this type of work. However, as the quote says, "Team work creates wonders", we have finally accomplished our task. We believe that the result speaks for itself - check it out and let me know!
